Ashley Hambright is a secondary school teacher at Oklahoma Connections Academy (OKCA). A teacher since 2006, she has been teaching at OKCA since 2012. Ms. Hambright holds a bachelor of arts in English education from Northeastern State University and a master of science in psychology from the University of Phoenix.
“I became a teacher because I have a passion for helping people, as well as for the English language and literature. I am a firm believer that education is vital to success and self-confidence and that it is also a support system to excel in life. I love that I get to help my students one-on-one, at their pace and in their own time.
At OKCA, I have made strong connections with my online students as well as with their families. There is a triad of support for each student: the school, the teachers, and the parents/family. Staying connected on a regular basis helps the student be successful.
When your child is a student of mine, he or she will be treated as I treat my own children. I will help guide your child in learning, celebrate successes, and provide corrective instruction to prepare him or her for life after high school.”
