Tina Luther
Reading Coordinator
Tina Luther is the Reading Coordinator at Washington Connections Academy. She began teaching in 1996 and joined Washington Connections Academy in 2017. She received her bachelor’s degree in education from Eastern Washington University. Ms. Luther shares more about her experience below:
“I became a teacher because I love to teach others, and I wanted to help young people. At Washington Connections Academy, I love that I have the flexibility to individualize instruction to meet each student’s needs.
“Teaching at an online school has many benefits, including being able to teach with minimal discipline issues. At Washington Connections Academy, we help prepare students for a bright future and help them realize their full potential. Learning online is hard work and a labor of love, but well worth it.”

When she is not teaching, Ms. Luther enjoys acrylic painting and hiking. She is married with two adult children and has a Maltese dog named Buster.
