COLLEGE CREDIT
Start Your College Career Early
Earn transferrable college credits with Pearson Accelerated Pathways.
Eligible 11th and 12th grade students can complete college-level coursework—and earn transferable college credit—with more than 18 online, self-paced courses from Pearson Accelerated Pathways.*
Eligible Washington Connections Academy students may take one course per academic year free of charge!**
Take college courses while still in high school with Running Start. ***
Running Start allows 11th and 12th grade students to simultaneously earn high school and college credit through courses at one of Washington's 34 community and technical colleges or at:
Central Washington University
Eastern Washington University
Northwest Indian College
Washington State University.
Courses can be completed in-person classes or online, depending on the college
*To participate, students must meet minimum GPA requirements and receive pre-approval from their school counselor.
**To be completed in the enrolled term
***Running Start students and their families do not pay tuition for Running Start courses, but they may need to pay college fees and buy their books, as well as provide their own transportation.
