When your child attends Washington Connections Academy, they’ll be attending an accredited public program where they can meet all the Washington educational and high school graduation requirements.
Washington Connections Academy Mary M. Knight is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), which are accrediting divisions of Cognia.
Washington Connections Academy Goldendale is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), which are accrediting divisions of Cognia.
Schools of Distinction
Cognia recognized both Washington Connections Academy Mary M. Knight and Washington Connections Academy Goldendale for demonstrating excellence in meeting the Cognia Performance Standards during their 2021–2022 accreditation reviews, thus earning the 2022 Schools of Distinction award. Each of these schools effectively implements high-quality instruction, shows consistent organizational effectiveness, and maintains a commitment to continuous improvement. NCAA APPROVED
Making Sure Students Stay NCAA Eligible
The following courses, organized by subject area, have been approved by the NCAA Eligibility Center for use towards initial eligibility when delivered by Connections Education, Connections Academy, or Pearson Virtual Schools teachers using the Pearson Online Classroom (formerly Connexus®) EMS platform. The approved content is the Connections Education version of the course.
Note that not all courses may be available at all locations, and there may be slight variations between your state’s course naming convention and the name of the course listed on the NCAA Eligibility Center High School Portal.
