Gillian Morgan is the High School Principal at Washington Connections Academy, where she began serving students during the 2018–2019 school year. She started her career as a math teacher and has always been driven by a desire to make a difference and help students shift their math mindset. In her current role at Washington Connections Academy, Ms. Morgan is committed to supporting students in an online environment and helping them find success beyond the traditional school setting.

What I Love About Working With Students
I love providing a different way for students to learn. Stepping away from a traditional setting and finding ways for students to be successful and learn in an online environment.
Building a Welcoming Community
We have so many supports in place for anyone who is a part of our school. We are all part of the Washington Connections Academy family. Parents have the support of our Learning Coach support not only within our school but Connections Academy as well. Students have the support of their homeroom teachers, as well as all of their content teachers.
My Favorite Part of the Job
Making connections with students and providing the support they may need. Seeing them succeed in school when a traditional setting didn’t work.
