Tuition-free online public school program celebrates graduating class prepared for college, careers, and beyond
Lacey, Wash. (July 2026) – Washington Connections Academy, a leading tuition-free virtual public school program serving grades K-12, recently celebrated more than 250 graduates from its Class of 2026. Families and educators gathered at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington for an in-person commencement ceremony that honored graduates’ accomplishments and celebrated the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Washington Connections Academy’s Class of 2026 represents a diverse group of students from across the state who have benefited from a personalized, high-quality online education. Among the graduating class, 44 percent plan to attend two- or four-year colleges or universities, including Indiana Wesleyan University, Pacific Lutheran University and University of Washington, while 14 percent will pursue vocational training. Others will take a gap year, serve in the military, or pursue extended study in sports or fine arts, or volunteer or mission work.
