“Growing up, I always knew that I was going to be a teacher. I think part of this is because I had some really great teachers in my life who made a difference, and I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children, too.
Teaching virtually allows you to have more one-on-one time and interaction with students. It allows me to work with students on a more individual basis. In addition, I think that the use of technology also helps students better understand the material and to learn in different ways. At OCA, I enjoy my interactions with students and families through LiveLesson® sessions, phone calls, and field trips.
At OCA, we believe that an education is a partnership between the student, the parent/Learning Coach, and the teacher. As a teacher, I have been inspired by the other excellent professionals with whom I have worked, and I have witnessed how OCA has helped students reach their fullest potential.
