Amber Lane
Middle School Teacher
Ms. Lane is a middle school teacher at Ohio Connections Academy (OCA). She started her teaching career in 2004 and joined OCA in 2007. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Otterbein College. Learn more about Ms. Lane’s story below:
“I decided to become a teacher after having a very inspirational teacher in third grade. She taught me how to have fun with learning, and I knew that I wanted to be just like her.
I love teaching at OCA because I enjoy getting to know each family on a personal level. Not only do I get to work with each student one-on-one, but I’m also able to have contact with each parent on a monthly basis to discuss his or her student’s progress.
