Ms. Kuhnke

Sammantha Kuhnke

4K and Kindergarten Teacher

Sammantha Kuhnke teaches 4K (kindergarten for four-year-olds) and regular kindergarten at Wisconsin Connections Academy. She is thrilled to lead her students on their online adventure, fostering a love of learning and building a community of curious, confident young minds.

Why She Loves Teaching

Ms. Kuhnke has always had a passion for working with children and helping them grow into the amazing individuals they are meant to be. Teaching in a virtual setting allows her to connect on a personal level with each student, especially in smaller group settings. She’s excited to meet her new students each year and discover the unique personalities they bring to class.

For Ms. Kuhnke, the best days are the ones when she connects with her students online during group LiveLesson® sessions and one-on-one meetings. These moments of connection are the heart of her teaching philosophy.

The Online Experience at Wisconsin Connections Academy

In Ms. Kuhnke’s virtual classroom, every student’s voice matters. Kids love the opportunities to share their thoughts, collaborate with classmates, and engage in fun, interactive activities. Ms. Kuhnke ensures every student feels heard and valued, whether it’s in group sessions or one-on-one meetings.

Ms. Kuhnke believes that learning is a journey, and even teachers make mistakes along the way. She turns these moments into valuable lessons, encouraging her students to spot mistakes and learn that it’s okay to be imperfect.

Outside of the Classroom

When she’s not teaching, Ms. Kuhnke enjoys spending time outdoors camping and soaking up the summer sunshine. She also enjoys reading mystery books, shopping, traveling, and creating memories with her family.
