Lynn Johnson
Elementary School Teacher
Lynn Johnson is an elementary school teacher at Washington Connections Academy. She began teaching in 1996 and joined Washington Connections Academy in 2017. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Washington State University and a master’s in education from Leslie College. Ms. Johnson shares more about her passion for education below:
“I love teaching at Washington Connections Academy because the students here want to learn. Because of our online school and accommodating staff, students who don’t want to be seen or heard have options. As a shy person myself, I know how frustrating that can be.
“I think Washington Connections Academy prepares students for the future because future American jobs will require computer skills. My students are ready for that!”

"When she is not at school, Ms. Johnson enjoys working in her garden, a place where she finds solace. She also loves camping with her grandkids, children, and husband. Sometimes those camping trips are double the fun because she starts out on her custom Harley-Davidson."
