Helping Our Community Prosper
The Utah Connections Academy School Board is the governing body of the Utah Connections Academy charter school. Led by an independent Board of Directors, the School Board oversees the school’s operations and ensures that it’s following its mission to help students learn and grow.
The school is operated by Utah Connections Academy, a nonprofit corporation, through a contract with Connections Academy of Utah, LLC, to provide its educational program and other services.

All of the meetings for the Utah Connections Academy School Board are open to the public and in compliance with Utah open meeting laws. You’re more than welcome to attend and participate. Meetings are held virtually. We offer the opportunity to address the board in a virtual setting. We simply ask that you review our public comment policy. Even if you choose not to attend a meeting, our records are public and you can obtain them through a written request and the payment of processing charges as permitted by law. For more information, take a look at our public records request form and access to public records policy. Below, you’ll find the dates of completed and scheduled meetings for the current school year. We’ll add additional meeting dates on this webpage as we schedule them. However, our school offices are the official posting location for (School) Board meeting notices.
UCA Board Governance Policies
The UCA Board of Directors approves, revises, and adheres to Board governance policies. The policies contained within the "UCA Board Governance Manual" are intended to be reviewed and amended on an as needed basis.
Reporting Policy
Pursuant to state law, Utah Connections Academy employees and governing board members are required to disclose any arrests or convictions. Disclosure will be made in accordance with the respective employee and governing board reporting policies.
