Mrs. Molly Hopper
10th Grade Geometry Teacher
Mrs. Molly Hopper brings nearly two decades of teaching experience to Texas Connections Academy, beginning her career in 2005 and joining Connections Academy for the first time this year. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Sciences, cum laude, from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, and she has a true passion for making math meaningful and approachable for her students.
When asked why she became a teacher, Molly’s answer is simple: “I became a teacher to share my love of mathematics with the world.” That passion shines through in her work with students each day. At Texas Connections Academy, she finds the most rewarding part of teaching to be the strong online connections that develop: “We truly become a family. We are all working together to build a love and understanding of mathematics.”
In her classroom, Molly teaches 10th grade Geometry, helping students not only master the subject but also appreciate the beauty and logic behind it.
Outside of teaching, Molly has some fascinating hobbies and talents. She once built her own 1978 Camaro with her own two hands and spent much of her life with a unique companion—an Eclectus Parrot named Mr. CoCoMo, who often rode on her shoulder.
Her combination of experience, enthusiasm, and genuine connection makes Mrs. Hopper an incredible addition to our Texas Connections Academy team.
