DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM
Preparing Texas Connections Academy High School Students for College
Texas Connections Academy students in grades 9-12 may be eligible to earn high school and college credits simultaneously through our dual credit program in partnership with Austin Community College, Collin College, Houston Community College, Lamar Institute of Technology, San Jacinto College, or the University of Texas-San Antonio. Students may take up to two dual credit courses per semester at a reduced tuition rate through our providers. Here is what you need to know to get started:
- Ninth through twelfth-grade students must be enrolled in Texas Connections Academy for at least one semester prior to qualifying for dual credit courses.
- Qualifying college entrance exam scores are required to take dual credit courses.
- College courses can be taken virtually or face-to-face through one of our providers.
