Meet Gavino Tragarz, a 7th-grade student at Texas Connections Academy and a professional actor!
Gavino's journey to acting is not your typical story. At the age of three, Gavino had borderline autism. However, his parent's determination to help him improve his speech and emotional expression, and Gavino's drive and determination, gave him the confidence to pursue acting at age 11. Since then, he has built an impressive resume listing various commercials, films, and voiceover projects.
His mom, Marivel, says she loves Texas Connections Academy because it allows her son to pursue acting professionally, along with other interests such as singing, soccer, and helping foster animals with his family.
His next project will be playing the lead role and creating his first song for Santa's Enchanted Chimney!
