Our Board
Helping Our Community Prosper
The South Carolina for Online Education School Board is the governing body of the Lowcountry Connections Academy and South Carolina Bridge Connections Academy charter schools. Led by an independent Board of Directors, the School Board oversees the schools’ operations and ensures that they’re following their mission to help students learn and grow.
The Schools are operated by South Carolina for Online Education, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, through a contract with Connections Education LLC, to provide their educational programs and other services.

All of the meetings for the South Carolina for Online Education School Board are open to the public and in compliance with South Carolina's open meeting laws. You’re more than welcome to attend in person and participate. Meetings are generally held at the schools’ shared office located at:

If you’re unable to attend in person, we offer the opportunity to address the board over the phone. We simply ask that you review our public comment policy. Even if you choose not to attend a meeting, our records are public and you can obtain them through a written request and the payment of processing charges as permitted by law. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available. However, our school offices are the official posting location for South Carolina for Online Education School Board meeting notices.
