Nicole Stephens joined Arkansas Connections Academy in 2017 and became the school
leader in 2021. Ms. Stephens says her favorite part of her job is getting to witness

Why I Became an Educator
I decided to become an educator at Arkansas Connections Academy because I am passionate about
helping students succeed. I believe that all students can learn, and with the right
schooling environment and teacher support, students, can excel at any level.
The Online School Experience at Arkansas
The culture at our school is one of family. We support each other, our students, and families
in all that we do. We work hard to build relationships with all of them and we’re very
proud of our rigorous curriculum and our online classroom that make student learning a
