Why I Became a Teacher

I became a teacher because I love learning just as much as teaching. I enjoy investigating, brainstorming, and discussing topics with students. I want them to enjoy the learning process as much as I do.

The Benefits of K‒12 Online Learning

The benefit of teaching at an online school versus a brick-and-mortar school is that the instruction is tailored to meet each student’s needs. Arkansas Connections Academy provides a unique opportunity for every student to learn in their own way and on their own time.

An education at Arkansas Connections Academy prepares students for a successful future. Students become good time managers and independent learners. They develop technology skills and learn how to socialize appropriately on digital platforms. This experience helps students evolve with the changing world they live in.

Arkansas Connections Academy provides a unique opportunity for every student to learn in their own way and on their own time.

Message for Prospective Families Choosing Online School

The school community is special because although some of us are hundreds of miles away from each other, you still develop meaningful relationships with students, Learning Coaches, and other teachers—just as you would in a brick-and-mortar school.

Hobbies and Interests

I love spending time with my husband and children. I also enjoy running and doing yoga.
