Why I Became a Teacher

I became a teacher because of the profound impact that teachers had on me when I was a student. History has always been a passion of mine, and it’s a joy when I’m able to see that same excitement in my students.

The Benefits of K‒12 Online Learning

The benefit of teaching at an online school versus a brick-and-mortar school is that the instruction is tailored to meet each student’s needs. Arkansas Connections Academy provides a unique opportunity for every student to learn in their own way and on their own time.

An education at Arkansas Connections Academy prepares students for a successful future. Students become good time managers and independent learners. They develop technology skills and learn how to socialize appropriately on digital platforms. This experience helps students evolve with the changing world they live in.

The school community is special because although some of us are hundreds of miles away from each other, you still develop meaningful relationships with students, Learning Coaches, and other teachers—just as you would in a brick-and-mortar school.

Arkansas Connections Academy provides a unique opportunity for every student to learn in their own way and on their own time.
