Christina Borden is a High School Assistant Principal at Arkansas Connections Academy. She began teaching in 2021 and joined Connections Academy the same year. In her current role, Ms. Borden supports students and families, using the online setting to connect with students more personally and support them more consistently.
Why I Chose Education
I became an educator to help students learn and grow as students and individuals. It is amazing to see students learn something new and hear them tell you how you helped.
Building Connections
In my LiveLesson® sessions, I like to include a “get to know you” activity that helps students learn more about one another, discover shared interests, and explore new topics together.
Advice for Families
Don’t hesitate to ask questions. We all have them and will continue to have them as our children continue their education. The entire staff is here to help and will work with you to answer any questions.
Some Personal Interests
I am married and have two kids. Baseball is our favorite sport. I really enjoy watching my son play. My daughter loves volleyball and I can not wait to start learning more about it.
