Common

We serve students throughout the entire state of Wisconsin, including those who reside in the Ozaukee County, St. Croix County, Pierce County and Calumet County.

All teachers at Wisconsin Connections Academy are employees of the Appleton Area School District. Wisconsin Connections Academy has a school principal and Dean of Students who are employees of the Appleton Area School District.

Students are required to complete the following standardized tests:

  • A screener measures early literacy: grades 4K–2
  • Wisconsin Forward exam: Wisconsin Forward Exam, Wisconsin’s instrument to measure English language arts, mathematics grades 3–8, science and social students grades 4 and 8, and social studies for grade 10
  • PreACT, Wisconsin’s summative assessment that measures students in the areas of English, reading, mathematics, science, and writing: grades 9 and 10
  • ACT® Exam, Wisconsin’s instrument to measure high school students: grade 11

Curriculum

The state of Wisconsin requires that 875 hours of instruction be provided for most grade levels. Wisconsin Connections Academy meets or exceeds this requirement.
