Open Enrollment for the 2020-21 School Year

  • The 2020–21 open enrollment application period began on February 3 and ends at 4 p.m. on April 30, 2020. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction requires that all families who wish to enroll in a school outside their resident district complete an Open Enrollment Application on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website to begin the initial Open Enrollment Application. It is recommended that you submit your Open Enrollment Application as early as possible during the dates above. Late applications will not be accepted by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for any reason.
  • After March 1, families who have applied for open enrollment will be contacted by the school with the next steps of the registration process for Wisconsin Connections Academy; this is not your open enrollment acceptance letter.
  • The Appleton Area School District must mail notices of approval or denial by June 5, 2020. Approval to the district is required to finalize your registration process.
  • If you reside in the Appleton Area School District, contact the school directly at 920-993-7076 for more information about enrolling.
