Check Eligibility

You must meet specific state and program requirements to participate in Wisconsin Connections Academy. Student eligibility requirements in Wisconsin are determined by the Appleton Area School District, which is the authorizing body for Wisconsin Connections Academy. Before enrolling, review the following eligibility requirements carefully to determine whether your student(s) is eligible to participate in grades K–12.

Note: Students who are currently expelled from their local school or district may not be eligible to enroll.

Online School Enrollment for the 2021-22 School Year


Families Outside the Appleton Area School District

Families who do not reside within the boundaries of the Appleton Area School District are required to complete an open enrollment application. The regular window to submit this application for the 2021-22 school year is February 1 through 4 p.m. on April 30, 2021.

If you missed the regular open enrollment period that closed April 30, you will need to complete the 2021-2022 Alternative Open Enrollment Application that is now available here: PI-9421.

Enrollment for first semester is closed. For 4K-12th graders applying for 2nd semester (start date of January 18, 2022), applications are due by November 30. Students will need to be fully enrolled and participating on January 18th to secure enrollment status.


Residents of the Appleton Area School District

Appleton Area School District students who want to attend Wisconsin Connections Academy for the 2021-22 school year should complete this AASD Enrollment Form.

Enrollment for first semester is closed. After December 22, 2021 - We will no longer be enrolling 4K-12th graders for a second semester start date (January 18, 2022) within the Appleton Area School District. Students will need to be fully enrolled and participating on January 18th to secure enrollment status.
