Dr. Holley Prescott joined Texas Connections Academy @ Houston in 2013. Her favorite aspect of the job is working with families and seeing students be successful. Dr. Prescott shares her story below.
Why I Became an Educator
I became an educator because I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. I wanted to help them not only to become lifelong and independent learners, but also to help them find what brings them joy.
Every student at Connections Academy has a story. I enjoy getting to know the students and families and what brought them to our school.
