Connections Academy prioritizes advanced learning opportunities for gifted students. At many Connections Academy–supported schools, the Gifted and Talented program is available to elementary students and up who meet state eligibility requirements. When appropriate, advanced younger students may have the opportunity to enroll in these courses or work at a higher grade level. This program helps your child stay engaged, challenged, and connect with like-minded peers in an online setting.
Beyond self-paced learning, most Connections Academy-supported schools offer rigorous options, including Honors, Advanced Placement® (AP®*), and dual enrollment. High school students who excel in specific subjects may enroll in these pathways to deepen their learning and prepare for college and beyond.
