About Pennwood Cyber Charter School’s Grade K–12 Programs
Discover how online school can help your child learn, grow, and thrive. At Pennwood Cyber Charter School, we help students in grades K–12 become confident learners and build essential connections with their families, teachers, and peers.
Through a unique combination of core courses and electives, as well as College and Career Readiness offerings for older students, our online school in Pennsylvania empowers children to find their own path—wherever life takes them.
How Does Online School Work?
Depending on their grade level and how long it takes them to master concepts and material, students spend between approximately 25–30 hours per week learning and growing. Their online learning experience includes a unique mix of independent work in our dedicated online learning portal and regularly scheduled LiveLesson® sessions with peers and their elementary school teachers. The ratio of time spent between online learning and independent offline work also varies based on grade level.
In addition, Pennwood Cyber Charter School students have the unique opportunity to spend quality time with their Learning Coach, a role typically filled by a parent or caregiver who supports their learning throughout the school day.
Through this approach, students can learn where and when work best for them—while benefiting from a strong circle of support that includes their peers, families, and talented educators.
