Jason Crowson

Principal

Mr. Crowson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Auburn University, a Master of Arts in Teaching in English Education from Western Governors University, and a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from Auburn University at Montgomery. He was awarded the PVS Leadership Academy’s Top of the Class Award which recognizes the top school leadership candidates across Connections Academy schools.

Mr. Crowson is honored to serve as Principal of Nevada Connections Academy (NCA). Before joining NCA, he served as an Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, and teacher-leader at Alabama Connections Academy. Additionally, he served as a high school English teacher and coach in brick-and-mortar schools before joining the world of virtual education. Prior to entering the field of education, he owned and operated a sustainable farm, worked in various roles in the construction industry, and worked in local media production for television and radio stations.

With a focus on ensuring that all students, families, and staff are valued and supported, he is committed to employing equitable, empathetic, and innovative practices that provide the optimal learning environment to prepare students for the next step in their journey, be that college or career.
