Daniel Cisar
Principal
Daniel Cisar is honored to serve students, families, and educators as school principal at Nevada Connections Academy (NCA). Before NCA, Cisar served in educational leadership for nine years at Arkansas Connections Academy, where he held several instructional and leadership positions, including High School Mathematics Teacher, Mathematics Department Head, Teacher Manager, and Assistant Principal.
Cisar has served as a High School Mathematics, Engineering, and Computer Science teacher. These experiences fostered his passion for helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world skills that prepare them for future success.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Missouri and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, Cisar’s academic background, combined with extensive experience in both traditional and virtual education, has equipped him with the skills and perspective necessary to support student achievement, instructional excellence, and organizational leadership.
Cisar is committed to creating learning environments where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. Through collaboration with families, educators, and community partners, he strives to ensure that every student is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to thrive in college, careers, and life.

Beyond his work in education, Cisar operates a small family farm on several acres, providing food and resources for his family while supporting members of the surrounding community. His commitment to service, stewardship, and hard work influences both his personal and professional life and reflects the values he seeks to instill in others.
