Lori Pope has taught for more than 20 years and joined Missouri Connections Academy in 2020 as a kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, and elementary school manager. She then taught third grade before transitioning to her current role as assistant principal for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

I have a natural curiosity that drives me to discover new places and experiences, whether it’s immersing myself in the rich history and creativity of a museum, paddling down a serene river in a kayak, or feeling the rush of snowboarding down a mountain.
“I believe these adventures not only help me recharge but also fuel my passion for learning. I love sharing these experiences with my family, as they allow us to connect in new ways and create lasting memories.
“Whether it's exploring nature or diving into cultural experiences, I’m always on the lookout for the next adventure that broadens my perspective and deepens my appreciation for the world around me.”
