Preparing Online School Students for Graduation

Missouri Connections Academy provides in-depth support to ensure that online school students understand their graduation requirements and are well prepared for life beyond high school.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Students must successfully earn a minimum of 24 credits to graduate. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates.

The minimum course credits required to graduate online schooling for high school include:

  • English Language Arts: 4 credits
  • Social Studies: 3 credits
  • Mathematics: 3 credits
  • Science: 3 credits
  • Fine Arts: 1 credit
  • Practical Arts: 1 credit
  • Physical Education: 1 credit
  • Health: 0.5 credit
  • Personal Finance: 0.5 credit
  • Other Electives: 7 credits

Additional statutory requirements for graduation include:

  • American Civics exam
  • Missouri Constitution Exam
  • U.S. Constitution Exam
  • 30 min CPR/First Aid Instruction
