Why I Became a Teacher
After many years in the law enforcement and legal fields, I saw the consequences of educational inequity. Those experiences fuel my passion to help every student achieve success.I believe children are the future and the hope for our country.
The Online School Experience
There are many things I love about teaching at Falcon View Connections Academy, such as the ability to personalize learning for students and help them individually; the flexibility of the classes; and the rigorous and interesting curriculum. The coursework engages students in higher-level thinking, even from early grades. This helps students grow into lifelong learners and critical thinkers, which will help them have a successful future.
Our school community is so special because staff members have high expectations for all students and are willing to support them however possible to help them achieve their goals. Our field trips and LiveLesson® sessions help us grow as a community and support each other, while building relationships and friendships that last a lifetime.
Falcon View Connections Academy is a wonderful school to help your child grow into an independent, confident, and critical thinker.

The Benefits of K–12 Online Learning
One of the benefits of online school versus a brick-and-mortar is the flexibility provided. I can meet with students virtually in small groups or individually anytime and help them as soon as they need it.
My Interests
I have a voracious appetite for knowledge and reading—I read about a book a week, sometimes more in the summer. I believe in lifelong learning and self-improvement, so I strive for those things every day. I also enjoy writing, traveling, binge-watching various shows, being outside, and spending time with friends and family. We also volunteer in the youth ministry program and in the café at our church.
