Learning Coach

Hanah is a Learning Coach to her two children attending Falcon View Connections Academy. With the spread of COVID-19, she looked for alternative online school options for her children to attend. Since joining Connections Academy®, Hanah has enjoyed the engaging curriculum, supportive teachers, and the ability to monitor her children’s progress.

Why We Chose Falcon View Connections Academy

Our children previously attended a private Catholic school, which we loved. When COVID-19 started, we knew we needed to look into other options. I learned about Connections Academy during my research into which online school would be the best fit for our family.

There were many positive reviews of people who had good things to say about the school. We were looking for an online school that would provide our children with a structured educational routine, but also give us flexibility to go to appointments, extracurricular activities, etc. We wanted a school that was established with online learning and are grateful we chose Falcon View Connections Academy.

Our Online School Experience

I like the routine and structure. I like being able to log in every morning and know that there are always assignments and LiveLesson® sessions for our children to do. Our kids aren’t spending idle time doing nothing. They are engaged and working hard, just as if they were in a brick-and-mortar school.

We try and reach out to the teachers whenever we need assistance or just to talk to them about our children’s progress. The communication with the teachers is wonderful. They’re attentive and always get back to us quickly with the help and resources we need.

As a Learning Coach, I love being able to be with my children all day, monitoring their progress and being there when they need help. I play an active role in their education, and I love that.

About Our Family

Our children enjoy biking on trails, target shooting, helping at church, and more. They manage their schedules by setting a daily routine. We set aside designated class time every day. They know that during those hours that’s our main focus and that once those tasks are completed, they’re free to enjoy the activities they love.

Since they’re still figuring out what they want to do when they grow up, their dreams often change. Currently, they are interested in helping animals or law enforcement.
