Why I Became an Educator
Going through school, I saw how personal barriers could hinder the educational experiences and opportunities of people in my life. I then knew I wanted to help future students overcome barriers of their own so they could reach their full educational potential. This led me to become a school counselor.
I love that I can communicate with our students in so many ways—whether it be in my LiveLesson® meeting room with camera and microphone or just a chat box, talking on the phone, or sending WebMail messages. There is something for everyone, no matter what their communication style.
The Online School Experience at Lighthouse Connections Academy

Lighthouse Connections Academy helps our students holistically prepare for a bright future by providing high-quality academic instruction, social-emotional learning opportunities, and college and career planning and resources.
