Lighthouse Connections Academy, a public, tuition-free, online school for students in grades K–12, celebrated its Class of 2025 on June 6, 2025, at Washtenaw Community College. The commencement ceremony honored 190 graduates from across the state while family, friends, and teachers celebrated each student’s unique journey and the completion of this exciting milestone.

What’s Next for Lighthouse Connections Academy High School Graduates?
Of the 190 graduates, 45 percent plan to attend a 2- or 4- year college or university, 21 percent plan to pursue vocational training, and 18 percent plan to enter the workforce. Other graduates have plans to join the military, take a gap year, or pursue other opportunities.

Serving more than 2,000 students across the state, Lighthouse Connections Academy offers high-quality courses with state-certified teachers specially trained in online instruction. The 2025–2026 academic year will mark the school’s second year of its successful College and Career Readiness offering for middle and high school students. Building on last year's foundation, this refined offering integrates traditional academic subjects with industry-leading, career-focused options like IT, business, health sciences and marketing. This program equips students with durable skills like leadership, critical thinking, and teamwork. Students can participate in career exploration and industry networking opportunities to build confidence, make connections, and find direction to prepare for their future.
