Why I Became a Teacher
I became a teacher because I had so much appreciation for my own when I was in school. I wanted to bring creativity, joy and encouragement to other students’ lives just like they did for me.

Our community is special because staff, parents and students all work together to be successful. We are in constant communication with one another, and even though we are in our own homes, we feel connected.
I had always been a fan of educational options, so I like working for a school that provides an alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar classrooms. The Kansas Connections Academy staff work as a team and support each other in a way that I've never experienced before.

My Interests
I spend most of my spare time with my husband and three daughters. We like to have outdoor adventures, play with our dog and cats, and watch movies. I also practice with my local women's tennis league.
