Preparing Online School Students for Graduation

Kansas Connections Academy provides in-depth support to ensure that online school students understand their graduation requirements and are well prepared for life beyond high school.

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Students must successfully earn a minimum of 21 credits to graduate. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates. 

The course credits required to graduate online schooling for high school include:

  • Language arts: 4 credits
  • Math: 3 credits (including Algebra and Geometry)
  • Science: 3 credits (including Biology, and Physical Science or Chemistry)
  • Social studies: 3 credits (including World History, U.S. History, and American Government)
  • Physical education: 0.5 
  • Health: 0.5 credits
  • Fine Arts: 1 credit
  • Additional required electives: 6 credits
