“It is very rewarding for me to work with young adults and support them in and outside of school and help prepare them to be successful beyond high school,” says Ms. Tacosik. “What I enjoy the most about working at Indiana Connections Career Academy is the opportunity to work one-on-one with students to help them succeed. This also gives me a chance to build a relationship with students, which helps them have the confidence to improve in school. One major benefit is that the time I would have spent creating lessons is spent on the phone working directly with students. I have more time to help students now, and I love that.

“Everyone at Indiana Connections Career Academy feels like part of a family, from staff to teachers to students to caretakers to leadership to the school board. We are all one big family with a unified goal to help students prepare for and succeed in life beyond high school.”

Every teacher at Indiana Connections Career Academy goes above and beyond, and as long as students communicate with teachers and do what is expected, students will obtain an excellent education.
