Indiana Connections Career Academy State-Required Information
- The federal Every Students Succeed Act (ESSA) requires all states, school districts, and schools to provide annual report cards to parents and communities. - Indiana Connections Career Academy is committed to a policy of educational and workplace equality as outlined in the IHCP Bulletin.
- Each year, Indiana Connections Career Academy is asked to provide a report on information such as enrollment, attendance rate, statewide assessments and more. View the Annual Performance Report or visit the Indiana Department of Education's website for more information.
- The Indiana Internet Use Policy works to protect students through a series of protective measures, including the prevention of inappropriate materials access and transmission, as well as protection against unauthorized disclosure of personal information over the internet. This policy is in accordance with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
- To facilitate active involvement of all Board members, the Board allows members to participate by electronic communication as outlined in the Electronic Communication Policy.

McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Improvements Act
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Improvements Act of 2001 ensures educational rights and protections for children, youth, and families experiencing homelessness by removing barriers to school enrollment and daily participation in school activities. Under this act, various living situations may be considered homelessness and may qualify the child, youth, or family for certain services.
