Joe Bakhos
Secondary Teacher
Joe Bakhos is a high school teacher at California Connections Academy. He started his teaching career more than 13 years ago and has been teaching with Connections Academy since 2008. He graduated in 1996 with a master’s degree in biology from the University of California, Irvine. Mr. Bakhos has California teaching credentials in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.
Mr. Bakhos teaches high school mathematics and science courses at Connections Academy. In addition to these subjects, he taught theology at Servite High School in Anaheim, California.
He lives in Big Bear Lake with his wife and the five youngest of his 12 children. Most weekends, he can be found with his family either hiking in the mountains of southern California or playing soccer in the park. His hobbies are reading physics, playing chess, and being soundly beaten by his children in video games.
