The California Online Public Schools Board is the governing body of the California Connections Academy Southern California, Central Valley, Central Coast, Monterey Bay, North Bay and Northern California charter schools.* Led by an independent Board of Directors, the School Board oversees the school’s operations and ensures that it’s following its mission to help students learn and grow.
The school is operated by California Online Public Schools, a nonprofit corporation, through a contract with Connections Education, LLC, to provide its educational program and other services.

MEETINGS
See Our School Board at Work
All of the meetings for the California Online Public Schools Board are open to the public and in compliance with California open meeting laws. You’re more than welcome to attend in person and participate. Meetings are generally held at the school offices located at:

If you’re unable to attend in person, we offer the opportunity to address the board over the phone. We simply ask that you review our public comment policy. Even if you choose not to attend a meeting, our records are public and you can obtain them through a written request and the payment of processing charges as permitted by law. For more information, take a look at our public records request form and access to public records policy. Below, you’ll find the dates of completed and scheduled meetings for the current school year. We’ll add additional meeting dates on this webpage as we schedule them. However, our school offices are the official posting location for California Online Public Schools Board meeting notices.
*The names of the California Connections Academy charter schools are: California Connections Academy Southern California (formerly known as Capistrano Connections Academy), California Connections Academy Central Valley (Formerly California Connections Academy @ Central), California Connections Academy Central Coast, California Connections Academy Monterey Bay, California Connections Academy North Bay (formerly known as California Connections Academy @North Bay), and California Connections Academy Northern California (formerly California Connections Academy @ Ripon). Please use the official names when searching the California state databases. The names on the California Connections Academy website and in promotional materials have been slightly modified to conform to a standardized naming convention.
