Arkansas Virtual High School Program
Today’s high school students are completely comfortable with technology, using it throughout their daily lives for everything from connecting with friends to ordering a pizza. That’s why Arkansas students who are looking for an alternative to brick-and-mortar high school naturally look to online high school programs, which offer the flexibility and safe learning environment they want using the technology they already understand.
At Arkansas Connections Academy (ARCA), our online high school curriculum meets Arkansas state guidelines and is designed to guide each student to a successful future. With English, math, science, and social studies forming the core of our program, ARCA also provides a variety of other online high school courses, including music and language courses, to help students pursue their interests and create a strong foundation for their future career or to further their education.

Our core classes include math, science, English, and social studies, but we also offer elective subjects such as digital technology, art history, and journalism. Many Connections Academy core high school courses are approved by the NCAA Eligibility Center. View a list of currently approved courses.
Honors and Advanced Placement® (AP®) * Courses

Arkansas Online College Courses
Many of our classes include the opportunity to earn college credit while still attending high school. These credits may be transferable to many colleges.
Interaction in a Virtual Classroom
To be successful in online high school, students must learn to interact in a live virtual classroom setting. While most of our virtual coursework can be done on the student’s schedule, they also need to participate in a live online classroom environment through our LiveLesson technology. This technology also allows students to turn in homework and track their own progress.
