Free Online School in Texas

Students in grades 3–10 throughout Texas are thriving at Texas Connections Academy @ Houston (TCAH), a tuition-free online public school. TCAH gives students the flexibility to learn at home with a curriculum that meets rigorous state education standards. TCAH offers:

• A challenging curriculum developed by leading education experts.
• Instruction from state-certified teachers experienced in online instruction.
• Support from trained counselors, principal, and administrative staff.
• Free textbooks, materials, and computer equipment (including a subsidy for Internet service) needed to participate in a dynamic online learning environment.

TCAH is operated under the terms of the Texas Electronic Course Program (eCP) in partnership with the Houston Independent School District (HISD). Connections Academy is a division of Connections Education, which is accredited by AdvancED. AdvancED is an organization representing 27,000 public and private schools and districts across the United States and in 65 countries worldwide.
