"I knew I wanted to become a teacher when I was in first grade. My teacher was a huge inspiration to me and helped me realize from a young age that teaching was my passion. When I began my career, I taught first and fifth grade in New York for six years. Then, I relocated to South Carolina, where I was a reading teacher for the Charleston County School District.

To parents who are considering online schooling, I would say: everyone at our school is so helpful, and we are here to help your child be successful! I know coming to SCCA was the best decision I have ever made, and I know you will feel the same. I love SCCA because it gives families options in their education and offers them flexibility. I love talking to the families on the phone and also meeting them face-to-face at our school events! We have so much data that we can use to help our students be successful."
