Ms. Greco started teaching in 2013 and joined Lowcountry Connections Academy in 2022. She teaches students in grades K–12 and is a counselor for students in sixth grade.

Why She Became an Educator

According to Ms. Greco, “I wanted to work with students. I have always been passionate about supporting students’ emotional well-being and academic success, and I want to help them navigate challenges and make positive life choices."

The Online Experience at Lowcountry Connections Academy

“I appreciate the opportunity to connect with online students in a unique way,” says Ms. Greco. “Lowcountry Connections Academy allows for more personalized approaches, accommodating diverse learning styles and paces. This flexibility helps foster a deeper understanding of individual student’s needs.”

Ms. Greco encourages student engagement “with fun and interactive activities that are driven by student interest surveys. I [especially] loved our end-of-year celebration and watching the elementary students playing and laughing like old friends. … My favorite classroom activity is Gimkit,” a game that requires knowledge, collaboration, and strategy to win.
