Rachel Parker
Director of Counseling Services
Rachel Parker is the director of counseling services at Reach Cyber Charter School (Reach Cyber). She serves students in all grades and especially enjoys helping students who are getting ready for the transition to high school. Ms. Parker completed her undergraduate degree at Temple University and received her graduate degree from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
After graduating, she decided to follow her calling to become a school counselor. Ms. Parker shares more of her story below:
"I believe in a shared mission to educate all students and enable their academic and personal growth. In partnership with all of Reach Cyber's talented staff, our counseling department aims to cultivate a school culture that gives every student a sense of belonging and empowerment. We work individually and in groups with students to develop goals and inspire lifelong learning.
In order to provide the highest service to students and families, I recharge on weekends with my own tribe! I’m married to an avid gardener and musician, which keeps us both fed and entertained! We have three children and a bunny rabbit who thinks that he’s a dog and an active feline."
