Connections Academy provides in-depth support to ensure that online school students understand their Oregon graduation requirements, including credits needed to graduate high school and prepare them for their future.

High School Graduation Requirements
 

Students must successfully earn a minimum of 24 credits to graduate. Be sure to check your school handbook for updates. The course credits required to graduate include: 

  • Language Arts: 4 credits
  • Math: 3 credits (including Algebra 1 or above)
  • Science: 3 credits (a minimum of 2 Science credits must be designated lab Science courses)
  • Social Studies: 3 credits
  • Health: 1 credit
  • Physical Education: 1 credit
  • Second Language, The Arts, Career & Technical Education: 3 credits
  • Electives: 6 credits
