Lenore's Story
Excelling at Her Own Pace
At Connections Academy, Lenore is able to work at her own pace, which enables her to excel and devote time to other subjects — including two of her favorites, American Sign Language and Chinese.
Lenore values and appreciates the support she gets from her teachers and feels that they are constantly helping her succeed.
Flexibility That Leads to Freedom
The flexibility of the school’s program is important to Lenore because it enables her to complete her schoolwork on her schedule, which frees her up to take part in outside activities such as attending church in the evenings on school days.
Lenore has enjoyed Connections Academy’s many field trips. Her favorite so far is a visit to iFLY to experience what it’s like to skydive.
"Connections Academy works for me. I love the flexibility and the advanced classes tailored to my learning speed and capabilities."
— Lenore
I have lots of control over the order and pace of my school day. I often know my grades immediately or very soon after completing my work. And I’m able to get help when I need it from teachers and counselors."
