“I became a teacher because of the immense impact that my high school teachers had on me. They were true role models, and I wanted the opportunity to be that for my students as well. My favorite part about teaching at Great River Connections Academy is the one-on-one time I get with my students either during phone calls or during LiveLesson® sessions. I get to know my students, what their interests are, what they are involved in, and what brought them to online school. Most importantly, we build that relationship so students feel open about sharing their lives with me and so they can feel comfortable in this learning environment. I constantly get to individualize instruction for my students, which I love!
Ultimately, I want my students to be in the learning environment that works best for them. I would suggest that prospective families research different types of schools to figure out what may best fit the needs of their family. I can promise that if Great River Connections Academy is your family’s best decision, all the teachers here would be happy to help your student succeed!”
Great River Connections Academy has the ability to meet the needs of so many different students, which is what makes our school so unique!
