Jason Swinehart
Principal
Jason Swinehart has been a part of the Connections Academy family since 2011 and brings a wealth of experience to his leadership role at Ohio Bridge Connections Academy. He has held a variety of roles including middle school math teacher, social studies teacher, and elementary assistant principal. Mr. Swinehart led initiatives to improve staff professional development, analyze student assessment data, and evaluate online instructional practices.
Before starting his career at Connections Academy, Mr. Swinehart earned a bachelor of arts degree in middle childhood education from Capital University, followed by a master of education degree in educational administration from Ashland University. He knew early on that he was destined to become an educator, having been inspired by the long line of educators in his family.
