At Ohio Bridge Connections Academy, we offer the support students need to meet Ohio graduation requirements.
Ohio Bridge Connections Academy works closely with families to ensure that students understand graduation requirements in Ohio and have the support they need to fulfill those requirements. Our comprehensive high school curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the classroom—long after graduation.
Students who attend online school and meet Ohio graduation requirements receive the same diploma as their peers who attend brick-and-mortar public schools in the state.
Students must successfully earn a minimum of 20 credits to graduate. A minimum of 5 credits must be earned at Ohio Bridge Connections Academy, and at least 1.5 credits must be earned in the semester immediately prior to graduation. Students will first need to meet competency by scoring at least a 684 on their Algebra 1 and English 10 End of Course exams. If these scores are not met after two attempts, an alternative competency pathway can be utilized.
Students must also receive at least two seals in order to graduate. Seals are a way for students to show they have received specific skills and knowledge to make them valuable in their post-secondary paths. Please see the Ohio Department of Education for the full list of Ohio Graduation options.
