Lisa Todd

Lisa Todd is a secondary math teacher at New Mexico Connections Academy (NMCA). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and began teaching in 1987. Ms. Todd joined NMCA in 2014 and loves her relationship with the staff and students.

When asked why she became a teacher, Ms. Todd said “I enjoy working with kids and making a lasting impression. I love working at NMCA because it allows me to teach students from all over the state and communicate with kids in a unique virtual environment. I get to build unique rapport with students and be available to help them all day.

The curriculum at NMCA is great and interactive. Students are challenged to maximize their potential and build skills that will prepare them for a lifetime of adventure. The staff is so professional and willing to help every student succeed and achieve his or her needs. Students are able to work at their own pace and the schedule is flexible, but challenging. Learning is always just a click away.”

Outside of teaching, Ms. Todd loves to be outdoors, especially when she is boating on the lake.
