Jill Lyons started teaching in 2010 and joined Missouri Connections Academy in 2021. She teaches Senior English, AP® Literature, AP Language, and Public Speaking. She is also our school’s Senior Success Coach.

According to Mrs. Lyons, “My favorite part of being a virtual teacher is having the environment to provide individualized support to my students, unlike in traditional classrooms.”
Mrs. Lyons’ favorite time of the year is graduation day. As the Senior Success Coach, she finds it truly fulfilling to see students reach their ultimate goal of graduation. While she is sad to see the graduates leave, she is always excited about the new adventures that lie ahead in their next chapter of life.
Fun Facts About Mrs. Lyons
Mrs. Lyons has a beloved fur baby, a dog named Tater Tot, who is small but full of spirit. She is also a proud aunt to a talented nephew and two amazing nieces.
