High School Counselor
Bachelor’s Degree, Neuroscience and German, University of Michigan; Master’s Degree, Counseling, Wayne State University
Melissa Drager is a counselor who works with students in grades 9–12.
Ms. Drager became a school counselor because she loves to listen when someone is having a tough time or just wants to chat. She enjoys helping students work toward their goals and make plans for the future.
Ms. Drager . . . keeps the students’ best interest[s] her focal point each day and in every task. She is quick to respond and does her best to help everyone around her.
— Shanna Shepherd, Manager of Counseling
Ms. Drager believes that this school can be a wonderful solution for many types of students with different challenges and needs. She reports that all the teachers here make a point of being helpful and accommodating.
When Ms. Drager isn’t at work, you can find her reading, binging Netflix, or spending time with her husband and their dog, Hank.
